Julio Foolio Cause Of Death: What Happened?

Julio Foolio has passed away. The Jacksonville native tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting on Sunday, June 23, in Tampa, Florida

His girlfriend confirmed his death on social media, posting on Instagram, “Y’all took my boyfriend from me. I hate y’all and I won’t be the only one crying.”

According to reports, Foolio was killed around 4:40 a.m. on Sunday. Police received a 911 call about the shooting, which they say occurred in a parking lot at McKinley and Fowler Avenue.

Two cars were reportedly shot at, resulting in injuries to four individuals. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three were rushed to a nearby hospital and are expected to survive.

The motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time. 

His attorney, Lewis Fusco, informed various media platforms, including TMZ that Foolio, legally known as Charles Jones, was in Tampa to celebrate his 26th birthday, which was initially on June 21.

The rapper reportedly stayed at an Airbnb but was kicked out for violating the property’s maximum capacity rules. Earlier, Foolio shared on his Instagram Story that he was in Tampa. In videos, he invited his followers to a pool party starting at 5:30 p.m.

“Police shut us down and kicked us out air bnb that’s crazy work,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories.

According to Fusco, the rapper was ambushed and killed just outside of the hotel in the parking lot. 

Julio Foolio rose to fame in the mid-2010s with his mixtapes, and he is well-known for his gritty and intense style of rapping. His music often revolves around themes of violence, including murders that have taken place in his hometown.

Foolio’s music style is often characterized by its gritty and aggressive tone, frequently touching on themes of violence, street life, and gang experiences.

He has collaborated with other popular Florida rappers, such as Hotboii and Glokknine, and has released several successful projects and singles, including “When I See You,” “Dead Opps,” and “SRT”

Julio Foolio was laid to rest July 6th after being shot and killed on his 26th birthday.
