Rod Wave and country music star Jelly Roll are locked in a fierce competition for the coveted number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart. According to HitsDailyDouble, both artists are expected to make significant sales in the first week of their respective album releases.
Rod Wave’s latest album, “Last Lap,” is projected to sell approximately 130,000 units in its debut week. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll’s “Beautiful Broken” is anticipated to move around 134,000 units. If these projections hold true, Rod Wave may face a narrow defeat, settling for the second position on the chart.
“Last Lap” serves as the follow-up to Rod Wave’s highly successful album, “Nostalgia,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in September 2023 with 137,000 units sold in its first week.
