Jay-Z’s ‘Illegitimate Son’ Accuses Rapper of Avoiding Paternity Test After Shocking Rape Allegation Surfaces

Jay-Z’s ‘Illegitimate Son’ Slams Rapper for Denying He Got Teen Mom Pregnant Amid Shocking Rape Allegations

Must Read

The long-running saga surrounding Rymir Satterthwaite, a 31-year-old man who claims to be the illegitimate son of Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, has taken a dramatic turn in the shadow of a more explosive controversy.

Jay-Z, now 55, faces a refiled lawsuit accusing him of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2000. The rapper has denied the claims, calling the lawsuit a “blackmail attempt.”

But for Satterthwaite, this new legal battle is yet another example of Carter deflecting serious issues rather than addressing them transparently. “It is both heartbreaking and frustrating to see Mr. Carter respond to allegations with such deflection and attacks,” Rymir told DailyMail.com.

Is Rymir Satterthwaite Jay-Z’s Son?

For more than a decade, Rymir has fought to prove that Jay-Z is his biological father. According to his late mother, Wanda, she conceived Rymir in 1992, when she was 16 and Carter was 22. Wanda, who passed away in 2011, claimed to have had an intimate encounter with Carter during an on-again-off-again relationship with her high school boyfriend, Robert Graves.

The question of paternity did not make it to court until 2010, two years after Jay-Z married Beyoncé. Wanda sought to compel both Graves and Carter to take paternity tests. While Graves was ruled out as Rymir’s father, Carter’s legal team has allegedly employed various tactics to avoid a DNA test.

“I’ve sought clarity about my identity for years,” Rymir said. “This is not about greed or spectacle—it’s about uncovering the truth.”

Rymir’s legal challenges have been fraught with jurisdictional disputes, procedural dismissals, and allegations of manipulation by Jay-Z’s lawyers. In 2012, during a pre-trial in Camden County, New Jersey, Carter’s attorney argued that the case should be dismissed because Rymir was over 18, and Pennsylvania law requires paternity to be established before a child reaches adulthood. The court later ruled that the case should follow New Jersey law, which allows paternity claims until age 23.

However, Jay-Z’s team argued that he should not be required to undergo a DNA test in New Jersey, citing his lack of residency in the state—despite public records linking him to properties in Alpine and Newport. Rymir has repeatedly lost these legal battles, leaving him disheartened but undeterred.

Allegations Against Jay-Z

The latest allegations against Jay-Z have reignited Rymir’s frustration. The lawsuit, which initially targeted Sean “Diddy” Combs, accuses Jay-Z of assaulting a woman identified as Jane Doe at a high-profile party in 2000.

Carter, in a statement denied the claims and expressed concern for his family, particularly his 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy. “I mourn yet another loss of innocence,” he said.

Rymir criticized Carter’s statement, questioning his commitment to “honor and protecting children.” He called for the rapper to finally address his paternity claims, stating, “If Mr. Carter values the ideals of honor and protecting children, as he claims, he should step forward with transparency. He continues to deflect and avoid.”

For Rymir, the fight for paternity recognition is not just a legal matter—it’s deeply personal. His late mother’s claims and his ongoing battle with one of the world’s most influential celebrities have left him grappling with feelings of abandonment and injustice.

The repeated dismissals of his case, paired with Jay-Z’s refusal to take a DNA test, have fueled speculation about what the truth might reveal. “This is about ensuring all parties are held accountable,” Rymir emphasized.

Despite losing every case he has brought, Rymir remains determined to hold Jay-Z accountable. “Mr. Carter has never once written a letter to me to address these claims—whether to deny or acknowledge paternity, or to address why his attorneys committed this fraud,” he said.

As Jay-Z continues to battle serious allegations in court, the unresolved question of Rymir’s parentage lingers in the background. Whether or not the truth will ever come to light remains uncertain, but Rymir has made it clear he won’t stop fighting.

For now, the world watches as Jay-Z’s legacy is tested.
